The Indiana Writers' Consortium (IWC)is a group of writers spanning 5 counties in northwest Indiana whose purpose is to connect with each other & with the community. The group is less than a year old, but looking ahead to a long future. Our first event was a picnic, complete with food, fun, and a silent auction--one that I had been looking forward to, until I broke my ankle. Mixed blessings. So many things that I can't do right now. What I can do is use the computer, research, write, read, catch up...! Hopefully I'll have something to show for it when it's all over! Thanks to my husband, Chuck, and daughter, Sarah for all of their help and unending patience.
